“We met 4years ago in the church (Living Faith Church aka Winners Chapel Kubwa, Abuja) where Ruth and I started off as friends and kept the friendship grew over the years. Though for me, the friendship from the onset was with a view to date each other, however,, it wasn’t so for Ruth, our friendship continued until we separated for a while. However, as the way life tends to happen, at a point we stopped communicating with each other due to some circumstances and life in general, we went on to date other people and carried on with life as it came to us. Even though we lost the physical connection, we were not far from each other’s hearts.
On one faithful Sunday in late-2018, Ruth and I reconnected and kept that channel of friendship open. The beautiful thing about a good friendship is that distance is no barrier, it was as if we never stopped talking to each other. Our friendship officially took the next level when Ruth finally had the nudge in her spirit to accept my request for us to date each other and that decision has led to other decisions that have brought us all here many months later to witness the birth of this wonderful union.”
